Founded in September 2005, Gavin Thomson Design is directed by Gavin Thomson FRSA and employs a team of designers and design engineers to provide a comprehensive industrial product design service formulated to maximise consumer and client design experience.

Formerly of Pentagram Design and partner of Factory Design, Gavin Thomson has 30 years of frontline commercial and consumer consultancy experience working with start-ups, entrepreneurs and international household brands including: Adshel, Airbus, Boots, Britax, British Airways, BT, Ford, Halfords, Kenwood, MontBlanc, Otis, Philip Morris, Samsung, Singapore Airlines, Spear & Jackson, Tannoy, Unilever, Virgin Atlantic, Wilkinson Sword and Yamaha.

As well as working with high profile domestic and international clients, Gavin Thomson Design has unique commercial and practical insight and business awareness through the design, development, manufacture and distribution of its own consumer products. Established in December 2005, Bicygnals Limited produces a range of innovative cycling accessories - Bicygnals ®.

Gavin Thomson is a Design Associate for the Design Council, advising companies on how best to use design across all aspects of their business, and is a visiting lecturer to the Royal College of Art and Ravensbourne University.
